Project Milestones
1. Deed Poll
All student partners need to complete a deed poll for each project. A deed poll assigns the intellectual property of your project to the University. This is a legal requirement for your participation in an SSP Project.
If you are you are using a screen reader or require an accessible version, please contact ssp@uq.edu.au
To find out more about intellectual property and confidentiality refer to:
- Intellectual Property Policy
- Book an appointment to seek free legal advice
Download the deed poll template (PDF, 1.26 MB).
2. Project Induction
Before you begin your project, all student and staff partners must attend a partnership induction together. This is an opportunity to get to know your team and have important discussions around shared expectations and goals for your partnership, as well as receive key information about SSP program ethos and structure.
3. Project Plan
At the start of the project, the team codevelops a Project Plan. This document provides an opportunity for all partners to:
- Review the original proposal and shape project design and methods
- Discuss and decide on team goals and expectations
- Consider roles and responsibilities for each partner
- Develop a project timeline with key milestones.
Each student partner must individually upload this plan to their workflow to receive their first grant installment.
Download the Project Plan template (DOCX, 49.8 KB).
4. Midway Check
The Midway Check is an optional survey that allows partners to provide feedback on their project experience and seek support from the SSP team if required.
Responses are only viewed by the SSP team and are not shared with other project team members without your permission.
5. Project Report
At the end of the project, the team codevelops a Project Report. This report outlines the methods and outcomes of the project and provides an opportunity to share any resources developed through the partnership.
Each student partner must individually upload this report to their workflow to receive their final grant installment.
Download the Project Report template (DOCX, 55.6 KB).
6. Reflection and Program Feedback
Complete the Reflection and Program Feedback surveys to:
- Reflect on your partnership experience and become eligible for an Enrichment Badge (students only)
- Provide feedback on the SSP program and partner experience (students and staff)
