Apply for a short-term experience

So you've decided you want to apply for a short-term study experience!

Before you start the application, it is important to review the following information to help you understand how a global study experience can connect to your studies, what your best experience options may be, and how to prepare an application!

2. Prepare your application

When submitting an application, you will be required to submit a range of information and documents. Be sure to have these ready before starting your application:

  1. UQ studies report (downloaded from mySI-net)
  2. Any additional application documents (if requested) for your nominated experience (see notes under the “Eligibility and application” section of the experience webpage).
  3. For-Credit students only:
    1. Short-term global experience application for credit form

Prior to applying for a short-term experience, you must have successfully completed any course/s listed as prerequisites of the course you want to enrol in for your global experience.

You may be able to search the Credit Precedent Database to find previously assessed courses. The database should be used as a guide only as not all short-term global experiences are listed in the database.
    2. Host program course profiles: These can be found by following links in the host program websites.
    3. Undergraduate BEL Faculty Students ONLY: include a completed progression check.
  4. UQ Program details
  5. Emergency contact details
