International students

Study in home country

International Students cannot participate in a short-term study experience in the country/region of passport if you are an off-shore student or hold a temporary residency visa for Australia (international student visa or provisional Business Innovation and Investment visa (subclass 188)). The only exception to this is for internships.

Temporary Graduate (subclass 485) visa

The Temporary Graduate visa is for international students who have recently graduated from an Australian institution. Be aware that your participation in a short-term global experience may impact your eligibility to meet the Australian study requirement.
