Important Travel Advice
Students planning international travel should continue to regularly monitor Smartraveller and the UQ Latest Travel Updates website for the most up‑to‑date advice.
UQ is not able to approve or support a global experience where the student plans to travel to, or transit through, any location with a Smartraveller rating of “Do not travel” or “Reconsider your need to travel”.
Students are responsible for reviewing flight routes and transit points accordingly
1. Pre-departure session
Before you leave for your semester-based exchange, you must attend a compulsory pre-departure session.
The pre-departure session for exchange in Semester 2, 2026 will be held on 02 Jun 2026.
