So you're ready to apply for an internship?

Before applying, confirm your eligibility to confirm you can afford to participate.

To receive support from UQ for your Internship Experience (which may include access to insurance and funding) you must submit your online application and supporting documentation (see notes below) to the Internships and Global Experiences Team.

You must agree to UQ's Global Experiences Terms and Conditions when you submit your application.

In-Person Global Internship Experiences

We are very pleased to announce that our global experiences will recommence on a country-by-country basis. We understand how important these opportunities are for you, and our teams have been working diligently behind the scenes to ensure these can be offered safely as we continue to monitor the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic and other global safety considerations.

Work through the following key steps to ensure that you research your options, understand deadlines and processes, and prepare well for your Internship.

  1. Research your internship options
    Use the Find an internship page to search for supported experiences. Pay close attention to the delivery type (in-person or virtual) and location, which can be found in the Fast Facts box.
