So you're ready to apply for a short-term global experience?

Before applying, talk to an academic advisor, confirm your eligibility and create a budget to confirm you can afford to participate.

To walk you through the process, download the short-term program checklist.

To apply, follow these steps:

1. Apply to UQ

Winter 2021 Short-term Global Experiences (Virtual Offerings)

All short-term global experiences offered during the Winter 2021 application round are available on a virtual basis. In-person experiences will not be supported.

For-credit experiences are dependant on faculty approval and will only be eligible for a maximum of 2 UQ units if approved by your UQ faculty.

Should you have any questions, please contact your Faculty directly.

More virtual opportunities for Winter 2021 will be updated on our website on a rolling basis. Students are encouraged to regularly check this page for updated offerings.

Applications for Winter 2021 now closed!

To receive support from UQ for your global experience (which may include credit pre-approval, access to insurance and funding) you must submit your online application and supporting documentation (see notes below) to the Global Experiences Team.

You must agree to UQ's Global Experiences Terms and Conditions when you submit your application.

You can only submit one application per application round. If you are unsure which global experience you wish to apply to, speak with an Internships and Global Experiences Coordinator
