The University of Zurich International Summer Schools offer interdisciplinary programs open to Bachelor and Master students from all over the world. 

This year, a range of exciting topics are on offer, all of them blending local expertise with the latest research. The UZH Summer School programs combine teaching, group work and individual study with industry expertise and academic trips.

Credit equivalent

6 ECTS = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 2 UQ Units if 6 ECTS are successfully completed (pending UQ faculty approval).

Eligibility and application

All applicants must meet the UQ short-term exchange eligibility criteria and the University of Zurich entry requirements.

Tuition will cost approximately $3,000 - $3,700 AUD. UQ applicants may be eligible for a tuition discount.

The University of Zurich is offering several tuition fee discounts (worth 500-1000 Swiss Francs), on a first come first served basis, to applicants from UQ.

Applicants may also be eligible for UQ-specific funding. Applicants will be notified by mid-May if they are eligible for travel grants and scholarships awarded by the Global Experiences Team. Please do not rely on this funding to support your global experience.

Madanqi - 2018

Firstly, this experience provided me with more possibilities when deciding my future career path. Secondly, I learned a lot about Switzerland and Swiss people. I made friends with people from different countries and learned that the ways people behave are largely affected by both natural and cultural environments.
