Soochow University International Program Winter
Soochow University International Program: Undergraduate and postgraduate students can make the most of their university break by gaining valuable overseas experience during this intensive 3-week program, which offers opportunities to be taught by distinguished worldwide faculty members. The winter program offers you the chance to combine academic learning with immersive cultural experiences, all while staying on track for graduation. Our program provides a wide range of subjects, including computer science, economics, marketing, and more.

Applicants are advised to submit 2-3 courses on their application for credit form for faculty assessment credit in case of course cancellation.
Credit equivalent
3 - 4 credits = 2 UQ units. Maximum of 2 UQ Units after successful completion of experience (pending UQ faculty approval).
Students may enrol in up to two courses during the program. Students are eligible to receive credit for a maximum of one course.

It is your responsibility to ensure you have the correct visa for the country where you will be studying. As the Global Experiences team is not a visa-issuing authority we cannot provide visa advice.

Eligibility and application
All applicants must meet the UQ short-term experience criteria and Soochow's entry requirements.
If you are intending to undertake your experience for-credit, it is strongly recommended that you submit your application to IGET at least 4 weeks before applying to the host to allow sufficient time for Faculty to complete the credit assessment. Please note however that it is your responsibility to meet the host application deadline.
Students are required to have a minimum UQ GPA of 5.5 in order to apply for this program.
Costs and funding
The participation mode of this experience is Study Abroad. Program fees range from approximately $5,270 to $6,450 AUD, depending on the number of courses undertaken.
Soochow University are offering UQ students 10 x scholarships for students participating in their Winter program.

OS-HELP Loan
You may also be eligible to apply for an OS-HELP loan if your program is for-credit and you are enrolled as a Commonwealth-supported student.
