Nottingham University Business School Summer Programme
The Nottingham University Business School Summer Programme International is committed to delivering an outstanding immersive learning experience for students. Through this programme, students will gain unique learning opportunities, broaden their global perspectives, enhance their business expertise, and develop valuable cross-cultural communication skills. The upcoming programme will be held in the summer of 2026, offering participants the choice to study at either the Malaysia campus or the Ningbo campus.
Leveraging a dynamic array of teaching approaches—including insightful lectures delivered by our distinguished faculty, interactive workshops, in-depth case studies, practice-oriented simulations, and team-driven essay projects—participants will acquire hands-on expertise that positions them at the forefront of academic and professional excellence. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to encompass a comprehensive selection of subjects, including but not limited to business, finance, economics, marketing, and management. Participants have the flexibility to enrol in one to two modules per session, tailoring their learning journey to their individual interests and career aspirations.

Credit Equivalent
20 Credits = 2 UQ units. Maximum of 2 UQ units if 20 Credits are successfully completed (pending UQ Faculty approval).

Eligibility and application
All applicants must meet the UQ short-term experience eligibility criteria and the University of Nottingham entry requirements.
If you are intending to undertake your experience for-credit, it is strongly recommended that you submit your application to the Global Experiences team at least 4 weeks before applying to the host to allow sufficient time for faculty to complete the credit assessment. Please note however that it is your responsibility to meet the host application deadline.
Cost
The participation mode of this experience is Study Abroad, meaning you pay tuition directly to the host. The tuition fee is $5,200 AUD, and earlybird discounts may be available.

Accommodation
On-campus accommodation will be available at an additional cost of approximately $20 - $30 AUD per night. Further information regarding accommodation arrangements will be provided following registration for the program. For more information regarding accommodation options, please contact the host.
Funding
Global Experiences Grants
When you submit your application for an experience, you are automatically considered for funding that is relevant to your nominated experience. Please refer to the Short-Term Experiences Funding page for details.
OS-HELP Loan
You may also be eligible to submit an application for an OS-HELP loan if your program is for-credit and you are enrolled as a Commonwealth-supported student.

Application Deadlines
OS-HELP loan applications open on 5 January each year.
OS-HELP loan applications can’t be accepted:
- any earlier than 6 months before the official start date of your overseas study
- any later than 3 months before the official end date of your overseas study.
