The University of Glasgow European Summer School for Advanced Management (ESSAM)is an intensive, two-week summer programme for MBA students, combining high-level coursework, workshops, guest lectures, consultancy projects, and immersive cultural experiences.

Credit Equivalent
10 ECTS = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 2 UQ Units upon successful completion of 10 ECTS (pending UQ faculty approval).

Eligibility and application
All applicants must meet the UQ short-term experience eligibility criteria and the ESSAM program entry requirements.
It is strongly recommended that you submit your application to the Global Experiences team at least 4 weeks before the host application deadline to allow sufficient time for faculty to complete the credit assessment. Please note, however, that it is your responsibility to meet the host application deadlines.

Cost
The participation mode of this experience is Study Abroad. The program fee is approximately $8,400 AUD (Friends of ESSAM Universities fee).

Application Deadlines
OS-HELP loan applications open on 5 January each year.
OS-HELP loan applications can’t be accepted:
- any earlier than 6 months before the official start date of your overseas study
- any later than 3 months before the official end date of your overseas study.
