So you're ready to apply for an internship?

Before applying, confirm your eligibility to confirm you can afford to participate.

To receive support from UQ for your Internship Experience (which may include access to insurance and funding) you must submit your online application and supporting documentation (see notes below) to the Internships and Global Experiences Team.

You must agree to UQ's Global Experiences Terms and Conditions when you submit your application.

In-Person Global Internship Experiences

We are very pleased to announce that our global experiences will recommence on a country-by-country basis. We understand how important these opportunities are for you, and our teams have been working diligently behind the scenes to ensure these can be offered safely as we continue to monitor the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic and other global safety considerations.

3. Internships Workflow

Once your application has been submitted, you will be able to access your StudentHub workflow. The workflow is used to complete all the next steps in the application and experience preparation process. It is your responsibility to ensure that you complete each step by the required deadline.

Please be aware that steps in the process are staggered and you will get access to the next step as you progress through the workflow. Some of these steps may require administrative review by the IGET team, so keep an eye on your UQ student email account for updates.
