You can contact CIS Australia for specific information on your program of interest and to request a copy of the UCLA course syllabus. More information regarding specific course availability can be found on the host university website.
Applicants are advised to submit 3-4 courses on their application for credit form for faculty credit assessment in case of course cancellation or changes.
Credit Equivalent
4 credits = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 2 UQ Units if 4 credits are successfully completed (pending UQ faculty approval).

It is your responsibility to ensure you have the correct visa for the country where you will be studying. As the Global Experiences team is not a visa-issuing authority we cannot provide visa advice.

Eligibility and application
All applicants must meet the UQ short-term experience eligibility criteria and the CIS Australia entry requirements. Students are required to have at least a 4.5 GPA to meet CIS entry requirements.
CIS Australia programs are highly competitive and fill up fast so be sure to get your application in as early as possible.
If you intend to undertake your experience for-credit, it is strongly recommended that you submit your application to IGET at least 4 weeks before applying to the host to allow sufficient time for faculty to complete the credit assessment. Please note however that it is your responsibility to meet the host application deadline.
Costs
The participation mode of this experience is Study Abroad, meaning you pay tuition directly to the host. The program fee will cost approximately $8,999 AUD depending on the session and type of accommodation chosen. An additional application fee of $95 AUD will apply.

If you participate in a short-term program you may also be eligible to submit an application for an OS-HELP loan if your program is for-credit and you are enrolled as a Commonwealth supported student.
