The Summer 2021/22 Yonsei University Winter Abroad will be offered virtually

This experience may require live attendance at lectures, webinars and group work sessions, at a time decided by the host.

UQ students are only eligible to participate in 'online' courses. Attendance in 'in-person' courses will not be supported.

The Yonsei University Winter Abroad program offers online courses for students to find their passion. Students can take up to a maximum of 3 courses.

Credit Equivalent

3 credits = 2 UQ units. Maximum of #2 UQ units if 3 credits are successfully completed (pending UQ Faculty approval).

All applicants must meet the short-term experience eligibility criteria and any additional eligibility criteria set by Yonsei University

The participation mode of this experience is Study Abroad: The program fee is approximately $2,000 AUD. Detailed information regarding program fees and inclusions can be found on the host university website. 


Applicants will be considered for only one grant per application round. Applicants are encouraged to review the Short-Term Experiences Funding information for further details.   

New Colombo Plan Virtual Mobility Grant 

A limited number of $1,250 AUD New Colombo Plan Virtual Mobility Grants are available for eligible Yonsei University Winter Abroad students.  

Widening Participation Grant & Short-term Experiences Grant 

When you submit your application for an experience, you are automatically considered for funding that is relevant to your nominated experience. Please refer to the Short-Term Experiences Funding page for details.
