The Tokai University Sapporo Japanese Language and Culture Program provides students with an advanced understanding of Japanese language and culture and to experience winter sport activities in Hokkaido.

This program offers an advanced level course in Japanese Language.  The content will cover language and culture studies and field trips. More information can be found in the program brochure and course profile. 

Credit Equivalent

Satisfactory completion of program = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 2 UQ Units if 2 credits are successfully completed (pending UQ faculty approval).

Eligibility and Application

All applicants must meet the UQ short-term experience eligibility criteria and Tokai University's eligibility requirements.

Students are expected to have studied Japanese Language for at least one semester prior to application. 

Students will be emailed directly by the Global Experiences Team with host application information, once eligibility is confirmed.

It is estimated that the program will cost you approximately $2,335 AUD.
