The PUK Summer Program aims to provide international students with an accessible and high-quality platform to understand China. The program taps into the brilliant pool of the university’s faculty, and its international network of experts, to develop and offer a portfolio of courses that include humanities, social sciences, and interdisciplinary studies.

Credit equivalent
3 Credits = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 4 UQ Units if 6 Credits are successfully completed across two sessions (pending UQ faculty approval).
Eligibility and application
All applicants must meet the UQ short-term experience eligibility criteria and the PKU entry requirements. This program impacts on UQ semester 2, 2024 dates, UQ students must meet the additional special conditions for programs that impact on teaching dates.
Cost
The participation mode of this experience is Study Abroad. Tuition fees will be approximately AUD$3,000. Accommodation and administration fees are an additional cost. Early bird discounts may be available.

Funding
New Colombo Plan Mobility Grant
Eligible students are guaranteed a New Colombo Plan Mobility Grant valued at $3,500 AUD when participating in this experience.
When you submit your application to the Internships and Global Experiences team, you are automatically considered. There is no additional application required. Applicants will need to submit supporting documentation (host acceptance, bank details) by the relevant deadline.
