Over three immersive weeks, you'll attend in-person classes, engage in dynamic discussions, and learn from leading academic experts in your chosen field. FASStrack Asia offers a perfect blend of courses and local field trips to ensure a holistic summer experience.

Applicants are advised to submit 2-3 courses on their application for credit form for faculty assessment credit in case of course cancellation.
Credit equivalent
4 Units = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 2 UQ units after successful completion of experience (pending UQ faculty approval).

Eligibility and application
All applicants must meet the standard UQ Student Eligibility Criteria and the NUS entry requirements for the relevant course.
For more information regarding the entry requirements, please see the program information for each individual course listed above.
If you are intending to undertake your experience for-credit, it is strongly recommended that you submit your application to the Global Experiences team at least 4 weeks before applying to the host to allow sufficient time for Faculty to complete the credit assessment. Please note however that it is your responsibility to meet the host application deadline.
*Applicants from UQ must apply as a Non-Exchange (fee-paying) student.
Cost
The participation mode of this experience is Study Abroad, meaning that you pay tuition directly to the host. Tuition will cost approximately $4,600 AUD and an application fee of $350 AUD will apply, which is deducted from the balance of the program fees.

Accommodation
On-campus accommodation in a single room can be arranged as part of the program for an additional cost of $1,500 AUD.

Global Experiences Grants
When you submit your application for an experience, you are automatically considered for funding that is relevant to your nominated experience. Please refer to the Short-Term Experiences Funding page for details.
OS-HELP Loan
You may also be eligible to submit an application for an OS-HELP loan if your program is for-credit and you are enrolled as a Commonwealth-supported student.

Application Deadlines
OS-HELP loan applications open on 5 January each year.
OS-HELP loan applications can’t be accepted:
- any earlier than 6 months before the official start date of your overseas study
- any later than 3 months before the official end date of your overseas study.
