CISaustralia specialises in the design, development, and implementation of Customised Group Programs. The CISaustralia July in Maastricht program is hosted at Maastricht University, considered one of the best young universities in the world!
Maastricht is a perfect city to enjoy part of your winter Uni break while gaining academic credit for a course in Forensic Psychology or Leadership and Management in a Global World.
This comprehensive study abroad experience and on-site support provide full assistance with everything from academic advising to immersion into Dutch life. Each course incorporates cultural excursions and weekend trips to Amsterdam and Germany. Located in the heart of Europe, this hands-on program, both inside and outside of the classroom, is sure to provide an unforgettable and life-changing experience!

Credit Equivalent
7.5 ECTS = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 2 UQ Units if course is successfully completed (pending UQ faculty approval).

Eligibility and application
All applicants must meet the UQ short-term experience eligibility criteria and the CISaustralia entry requirements. Students are required to have a 4.5 GPA to meet CIS entry requirements.
CIS Australia programs are highly competitive and fill up fast, so be sure to get your application in as early as possible.
If you are intending to undertake your experience for-credit, it is strongly recommended that you submit your application to IGET at least 4 weeks before applying to the host to allow sufficient time for faculty to complete the credit assessment. Please note, however, that it is your responsibility to meet the host application deadline.
Costs
The participation mode of this experience is Study Abroad, meaning you pay tuition directly to the host. The program fee will cost between approximately $8,699 AUD (depending on accommodation type chosen) and includes tuition, accommodation, meals and a class field trips. An additional application fee of $99 AUD will apply.

Internships and Global Experiences Grants

OS-HELP Loan
You may also be eligible to submit an application for an OS-HELP loan if your program is for-credit and you are enrolled as a Commonwealth-supported student.
