The Winter 2022, FASStrack Asia: The Summer School will be offered virtually

The Winter 2022 FASStrack Asia: The Summer School Session will be offered virtually

This experience may require live attendance at lectures, webinars and group work sessions, at a time decided by the host. More information can be found online.

The National University of Singapore with the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) is delighted to offer FASStrack Asia: The Summer School in June 2022. As a leading university centred in Asia, NUS has ranked consistently as one of the top universities in the world that places a strong emphasis on a high quality, globally-oriented educational experience.

With Asia in the world’s spotlight as it undergoes rapid growth, the summer programme will tap into our research strengths in the region and offer students an enriching knowledge and understanding of various Asian-related topics and issues. Taught over a 5-week summer period, students will attend classes, participate in active discussions and learn from academic experts specializing in their area of study.

The National University of Singapore FASStrack Asia experience will conflict with UQ's semester 1, 2022 exam period by 2 days. Students participating in the National University of Singapore FASStrack Asia experience should not make any financial commitments, including fees to National University of Singapore FASStrack Asia, accommodation or flights, until their examination timetables are released. Students will be responsible for checking their own exam timetable to establish whether they will have an exam that will conflict with the start of the National University of Singapore FASStrack Asia experience.

Students are expected to attend any scheduled exam at UQ, and will not be eligible for deferred or alternate assessment or exams re-sits, due to timetable conflicts with a Winter experience.

Your UQ Faculty will take no responsibility for students who pursue the National University of Singapore FASStrack Asia experience and fail or don’t attend their final exam at UQ.
