The June to July 2021, FASStrack Asia: The Summer School 2021 will be offered virtually

This experience may require live attendance at lectures, webinars and group work sessions, at a time decided by the partner organisation. No special considerations will be extended to any successful applicant if an approved experience coincides with the commencement of Semester Two studies at UQ. The National University of Singapore with the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) is delighted to offer FASStrack Asia: The Summer School in June 2021. As a leading university centred in Asia, NUS has ranked consistently as one of the top universities in the world that places a strong emphasis on a high quality, globally-oriented educational experience. 

With Asia in the world’s spotlight as it undergoes rapid growth, the summer programme will tap into our research strengths in the region and offer students an enriching knowledge and understanding of various Asian-related topics and issues. Taught over a 5-week summer period, students will attend classes, participate in active discussions and learn from academic experts specializing in their area of study.

Credit equivalent 

4 Credits = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 2 UQ units after successful completion of experience (pending UQ faculty approval).

Students from the below faculties may be eligible to receive credit for this experience:

  • BEL
  • HaSS
  • Science

All applicants must meet the standard UQ Student Eligibility Criteria and the NUS entry requirements for the relevant course. For more information regarding the entry requirements, please see the program information for each individual course listed above.

Cost

Tuition fee is approximately $2,950 AUD. More information regarding program fees please see the program information for each individual course listed under the program tab.

Funding

Applicants may also be eligible for UQ-specific funding. Applicants will be notified by mid-May (for winter programs) or late-October (for summer programs) if they are eligible for grants and scholarships awarded by the Internships and Global Experiences Team. Please do not rely on this funding to support your experience.
