The Fudan International Winter Session is held by School Of Economics, Fudan University. The Program intends to provide international, high-standard and open courses. It will open in December 2018, offering courses in Finance, Economics, Chinese Culture and society. 2018 is a 4-week course and cultural experience for students from all over the world.

All courses are taught by experienced professors and lecturers from Fudan University with high intellectual accomplishment. FIWS also arrange various activities, providing students with opportunities to have intercultural communication and real experience of China's rapid economic development.

Credit equivalent

3 Fudan Credits = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 4 UQ Units if 6 Fudan credits are successfully completed (pending UQ faculty approval).

All applicants must meet the UQ short-term experience criteria and the Fudan entry requirements.

The program fee varies depending on the number of courses and the time of application. Program fees range from $3,560 - $5,341 AUD per session. More information regarding program fees can be found on the host university website. 

Applicants may also be eligible for UQ-specific funding.

Ying Yi - 2019

I wanted to explore a new place in terms of culture and daily life style. On the other hand I would like to experience a different style of teaching.

FIWS has changed my personal view about China, Shang Hai city is amazing and Fudan University is fantastic. I have experienced different styles of teaching and cultures, both eastern and western styles are increasing my motivation to explore more about my business study.
