University of Leeds International Summer School (LISS) offers the opportunity to study at the University of Leeds and immerse yourself in British culture as part of an exciting four-week program.

Credit Equivalent 

10 Credits = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 4 UQ Units if 20 Credits are successfully completed (pending UQ faculty approval).

Eligibility and application

All applicants must meet the short-term experience eligibility criteria and the Leeds entry requirements.

This program impacts on UQ semester 2, 2019 dates, UQ students must there meet the additional special conditions for programs that impact on teaching dates. 


Apply to UQ Abroad 

*Applicants will be nominated to Leeds by UQ Abroad once their application is assessed and submitted. Leeds will contact applicants directly with their application information.


Tuition is paid to UQ. Program fee is approximately $2,300 AUD and includes accommodation, some meals, academic field trips, cultural excursions and a social programme.
