University of Leeds International Summer School (LISS) offers the opportunity to study at the University of Leeds and immerse yourself in British culture as part of an exciting two or four-week program.

Credit equivalent 

10 Leeds Credits = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 4 UQ Units if 20 Credits are successfully completed across two blocks (pending UQ faculty approval).

Eligibility and application

All applicants must meet the short-term experience eligibility criteria and the Leeds entry requirements

According to Leeds entry requirements, this experience requires a minimum UQ GPA of 5.0. 

If you intend to undertake your experience for-credit, it is strongly recommended that you submit your application to IGET at least 4 weeks before applying to the host to allow sufficient time for faculty to complete the credit assessment. Please note however that it is your responsibility to meet the host application deadline.

Costs

The participation mode of this experience is Study Abroad. The program fee is approximately $4100 AUD for one block, or $7600 AUD for two blocks. Early bird discounts are also available.

If you participate in a short-term program you may also be eligible to submit an application for an OS-HELP loan if your program is for-credit and you are enrolled as a Commonwealth supported student.
