Credit equivalent 

7.5 ECTS = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 4 UQ Units if 15 ECTS are successfully completed (pending UQ faculty approval).

Eligibility and application

All applicants must meet the UQ short-term experience eligibility criteria and the Exeter entry requirements. This is a competitive program and students must obtain credit in order to participate in this program. Students will be selected via an internal UQ selection committee, as well as an internal Exeter evaluation. 

*Successful applicants will be nominated to Exeter by UQ after the the selection committee meeting after the UQ application deadline and be asked to complete Exeter's online application.

Tuition is paid to UQ. Addtional program fees (approximately $2,300 AUD) are paid directly to Exeter and include airport transportation, orientation and accommodation in London, accommodation in Exeter, social program and onsite support. This fee is payable to the University of Exeter. More information regarding program fees can be found on the host university website

Applicants may also be eligible for UQ-specific funding. Applicants will be notified by mid-May if they are eligible for travel grants and scholarships awarded by the Global Experiences Team. Please do not rely on this funding to support your global experience.

 I made professional connections with international professors in hopes that one day my research and studies might take me abroad. I was given the opportunity to explore London to its depths and learn about the English history and culture through a variety of activities.
