The Queen Mary University of London Summer School is the opportunity to discover what it’s like to study at one of the UK’s top universities while living in one of the coolest parts of London!

Credit Equivalent

15 credits = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 4 UQ Units upon successful completion of 30 credits (pending UQ faculty approval).

Eligibility and application

All applicants must meet the standard UQ Student Eligibility Criteria and any additional eligibility criteria set by Queen Mary

Session Two of this program impacts on UQ semester 2 dates, UQ students must meet the additional special conditions for programs that impact teaching dates.

Costs

Program tuition is approximately $3,600 - $7,000 AUD. More information regarding program fees can be found on the Queen Mary website. UQ students may be eligible for a program discount. 

Applicants may also be eligible for UQ-specific funding. Applicants will be notified by mid-May if they are eligible for travel grants and scholarships awarded by the Global Experiences Team. Please do not rely on this funding to support your global experience.

Widening Participation Grant

Applicants may also be eligible for UQ-specific funding. Applicants will be notified by mid-May (for winter programs) or late-October (for summer programs) if they are eligible for grants and scholarships awarded by the Internships and Global Experiences Team. Please do not rely on this funding to support your experience.

Accommodation

If you participate in a short-term program you may also be eligible to submit an application for an OS-HELP loan if your program is for-credit and you are enrolled as a Commonwealth supported student.
