The Lund University Winter School at LUSEM is a collaboration with Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki, Finland. We offer an intensive two-week programme, one week in Lund, Sweden and one week in Helsinki in Finland.

Add an exciting Nordic perspective to your business studies.  Explore two top Nordic business school perspectives on these current topics, 'From Bitcoins to Biases' in Lund and 'Sustainable Finance' in Helsinki, whilst learning from other students from around the world in an interactive global classroom.  Enjoy social and cultural activities alongside this unique intensive two-week program.

Credit Equivalent 

6 ECTS = 2 UQ Units. A maximum of 2 UQ Units if 6 ECTS are successfully completed (pending UQ faculty approval).

Eligibility and Application

All applicants must meet the UQ short-term experience eligibility criteria and any additional eligibility criteria set by LUSEM

There are limited places available in the Winter School LUSEM programme, and students will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Successful applicants will be nominated by the Global Experience team to the host university.  Students will then be contacted by the host university for further application instructions.

Accommodation is available at an additional cost.   Please refer to each destination, as accommodation between the two cities varies.

When you submit your application for an experience, you are considered for funding that is relevant to your nominated experience. Please refer to the Short-Term Experiences Funding page for details.

Students are encouraged to register and attend an information session to receive more details on the short-term application process, eligibility criteria, funding etc.​
