The King's College London Undergraduate Summer School is a chance to immerse yourself in British culture, experience the UK higher education system and make friends with fellow students from around the world. 

The research-led teaching is globally-renowned and uses group discussions, off-campus excursions and guest speakers to make summer classes as fun and as informative as possible. Classes take place on our riverside campuses in the very heart of London, so you will be within easy reach of all the main visitor attractions enabling you to enjoy the city while you learn.

Credit Equivalent

7.5 ECTS = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 4 UQ Units upon successful completion of 15 ECTS (pending UQ faculty approval).

Eligibility and application

All applicants must meet the standard UQ Student Eligibility Criteria and any additional eligibility criteria set by King's College London

Session Two of this program impacts on UQ semester 2 dates, UQ students must meet the additional special conditions for programs that impact on teaching dates.

Costs

Program tuition is approximately $3,400 - $5,700 AUD per course. More information regarding program fees can be found on the King's College London website.

Applicants may also be eligible for UQ-specific funding. Applicants will be notified by mid-May if they are eligible for travel grants and scholarships awarded by the Global Experiences Team. Please do not rely on this funding to support your global experience.

OS-HELP Loan

If you participate in a short-term program you may also be eligible to submit an application for an OS-HELP loan if your program is for-credit and you are enrolled as a Commonwealth supported student.
