Comillas Universidad Pontificia Summer School
Comillas Universidad Pontificia, founded over one hundred years ago by the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits), is one of the most prestigious private universities in Spain. Backed by a rich humanistic and educational tradition. We offer standalone courses in Spanish and English. Classes will be held at our campus in Madrid.
Spend a Summer at the Comillas Universidad Pontificia Summer School, situated in Madrid, the second-largest city in the EU. Madrid has come a long way from a Moorish fortress in the late 9th century to today, a bustling, vibrant cosmopolitan city renowned for its vibrant culture, featuring world-class museums, a diverse culinary scene, and historic neighbourhoods.

Credit Equivalent
5 ECTS = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 4 UQ Units upon successful completion of experience (pending UQ faculty approval).

Eligibility and Application
All applicants must meet the UQ short-term experience eligibility criteria and any additional eligibility criteria set by Comillas Universidad Pontifica.
Cost
The participation mode of this experience is Study Abroad, meaning you pay tuition directly to the host. Tuition for the program will cost approximately $2,660 AUD for undergraduate courses and $3,260 AUD for postgraduate courses.

If you participate in a short-term program you may also be eligible to submit an application for an OS-HELP loan if your program is for-credit and you are enrolled as a Commonwealth-supported student.
Application Deadlines
OS-HELP loan applications open on 5 January each year.
OS-HELP loan applications can’t be accepted:
- any earlier than 6 months before the official start date of your overseas study
- any later than 3 months before the official end date of your overseas study.
