CISaustralia specialises in the design, development and implementation of Customised Group Programs. The CIS Australia July in Barcelona program is an experience immersed in the culture, language and traditions of Barcelona. Enjoy an active cultural and social schedule experiencing so much of what the city has to offer.
As a student, you’ll be studying at Barcelona School for International Studies (SIS) located in the heart of the city. SIS boasts fantastic local and international professors, many of whom are working professionals in the field they teach. SIS maintains small class sizes and focuses on experiential learning, which means that students will get individualised attention and participate actively during class.

Credit Equivalent
3 credits = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 2 UQ Units upon successful completion of 3 credits (pending UQ faculty approval).

Eligibility and application
All applicants must meet the UQ short-term experience eligibility criteria and the CIS Australia entry requirements. Students are required to at least have a 4.5 GPA or equivalent to meet CIS entry requirements.
CIS Australia programs are highly competitive and fill up fast so be sure to get your application in as early as possible.
If you are intending to undertake your experience for-credit, it is strongly recommended that you submit your application to IGET at least 4 weeks before applying to the host to allow sufficient time for Faculty to complete the credit assessment. Please note however that it is your responsibility to meet the host application deadline.
Costs
The participation mode of this experience is Study Abroad, meaning you pay tuition directly to the host. The program fee is approximately $6,999 AUD. An additional application fee of $95 AUD will apply.
