Challenges Abroad Romania Health Promotion
Experience the very best of Eastern Europe in Challenges Abroad's unique Health Promotion Challenge! Volunteer in a charming Transylvanian Village working with incredible organisations that will leave a lasting impression on both you and the communities around.
Experience
You will be working in a beautiful Transylvanian village on health education initiatives with local care homes and government schools. Through fun and engaging activities, you will be directly supporting our local partners to improve the health and well-being of their communities. We encourage our volunteers to use their enthusiasm and creativity to ensure a fun and meaningful two weeks!
Despite seeing strong economic growth since the turn of the millennium, Romania still has remnants of Rustic European charm. Even in cities where you will find cars racing down the streets, you will almost anywhere find horse-drawn buggies, green mountains, cone-shaped haystacks and flocks of sheep bouncing along. For those with an eye for amazing architecture, Romania will not disappoint. From grand Gothic buildings to spectacular castles and palaces, as well as numerous churches and monasteries. Don’t forget to visit Dracula’s Castle!
