UQ has a wide range of research projects available each year to suit many interests and disciplines, across a number of Schools, Institutes and Centres.
Project availability and the number of units participating differs each year.

Details of the Unit Coordinator for each research unit are also available.

Important Dates
2026 Winter Research Program
The program will run for four (4) weeks between 29 June - 24 July 2026.
Application period: 23 March - 12 April 2026. Application Period is now CLOSED.
You must have submitted an online application form before11:59pm, Sunday 12 April 2026 to be considered for this program.
2027 Summer Research Program
The program will run for six (6) weeks between 11 January - 19 February 2027.
Application period: 21 September - 11 October 2026.
You must submit an online application form by 11:59pm, Sunday 11 October 2026 if you wish to be considered for this program.
