Winter 2022 In-person Global Internships

Applications for Winter 2022 Internships will open on 17 January 2022.

A final decision to proceed with the in-person global experiences will be made by late March 2022, based on government health regulations and/or travel restrictions at the time.

The health and safety of our students is a top priority, and this approach allows us to start planning these exciting opportunities whilst maintaining the flexibility to adjust our plans.

We understand it might be tempting to start making additional plans, however, please do not make any bookings or apply for visas until after the late March decision.

UQ’s Internships and Global Experiences Team strongly recommends you do not make any financial commitments (program fees, flights, accommodation, visas, etc.) for an in-person Internship experience in Winter 2022 until after the March decision.

We understand it might be tempting to start making these additional plans, especially for experiences that open applications early and may fill up fast. If you decide to apply and pay for an experience before UQ has confirmed support of in-person global experiences in late-March you do so at your own risk and neither UQ nor the Host Organisation is liable for any expenses or other liabilities incurred.
