Motivation
I want to experience the culture and knowledge of different countries, and I hope I can enjoy the beauty of different worlds and experience more local customs. I also hope that I can learn different knowledge and experience different teaching methods in this short exchange study.
Personal Development
In this study, I met a lot of friends from all over the world, some of them are from Singapore. Some from the United States, some from Fiji. Everyone helps each other in class and works together on group assignments assigned by the professor. In this study, I also learned how to say some simple daily greetings in Korean and tasted the local special food.
Academic Development
While studying and living in Korea, I felt the gap between culture and region. Although China and South Korea are both Asian countries, they have very different lifestyles. First of all, there is the language barrier, and in addition, the course I choose is different from my major, so it is particularly important to preview before class. Adequate preparation allows me to learn more knowledge in class and better understand the knowledge points explained by the teacher in class. In South Korea, a class lasts for three hours, while the longest one in Queensland only lasts for two hours. With a one-hour gap, I have to strengthen my attention and devote more energy to the efficiency of listening.
Professional Development
I learned a lot during this short study exchange, among which I think independence and persistence are the most helpful. January in South Korea is very cold, the road is always slippery due to heavy snow, and sometimes I feel sleepy when I get up in the morning. However, during this study, I did not miss any class for no reason, and I arrived at the classroom early every day. If I miss the bus, I'll walk to school. Although it is only a simple thing, but 3 weeks of persistence, has formed a habit. I believe that this habit will be brought into my future study and life, insist on will be fruitful. The biggest challenge in learning is the content of the course. This is the first time for me to get in touch with brand knowledge, and I cannot grasp the teacher's meaning of many knowledge points in the first time. In order to avoid delaying the course, I will preview the knowledge to be learned in advance the night before and mark the key content so that I can recite by myself.
Highlight
My highlight moment must be that I got an A in the final presentation of my group work, and the teacher showed great interest in our group's presentation. Our group's own innovative brand attracted the attention of the whole class. There is also a highlight moment, must be attending the graduation ceremony, which is really beyond my expectation. I didn't think the school would arrange a graduation ceremony for us, but the school not only provided us with school uniforms, but also provided us with graduation meals. Everyone was very happy here, and at the end we took a big photo, which will be an unforgettable memory.
