International Internships: In-Person Internships
International Internships have been operating for more than 15 years. We organise internships, work-integrated learning (WIL) placements, and study intensives in Indonesia, for Australian university students, across a wide range of discipline areas. International Internships work with individual students and educational institutions, commercial organisations, and NGOs to facilitate internships, study intensives, immersion and unit-based programs, and provide career mentoring, professional skills development, cross-cultural communication, and language training.
What can I participate in?
Program 1: Individual Internship
Students will be placed with an organisation located in Jakarta. On an individual internship, you work independently, like a regular employee of your host organisation, closely supported by your colleagues and the International Internships team.
Program 2: Team Internship
Students will be placed with an organisation located in Jakarta. On a team internship, you will be an integral part of a small multi-disciplinary team of students (including 3-4 Australian students and at least 1 Indonesian student) working together to deliver a project for a highly-regarded organisation in Indonesia. Your internship is tailored to your area of study and preferences.
International Internships have a range of international internships from a number of fields including:
- Business & Entrepreneurship
- Design & Creative Industries
- Environmentalism & Sustainability
- Media & PR
- Information Technology
- Construction & Architecture
- Social Sciences
