Internationality, practical relevance and an integrative view have characterised education at the University of St Gallen since its establishment in 1898. Its high academic standards have earned it the EQUIS and AACSB accreditations.

St Gallen is among the cities with the youngest population in Switzerland. The narrow streets with many shops, cosy restaurants and bars at every corner create an atmosphere you can’t help falling in love with.

Find courses

St Gallen has course catalogues for each semester. Refer to the course information of the same semester of the previous year, as not all courses are offered each semester.

The definite course list for the semester of your exchange will only be available on the St Gallen online timetable about one month before the semester begins.
Ensure you search for the correct level of courses - see "Additional Academic Information" below for more detail.

Search the Credit Precedent Database to find courses offered by your host university that have been previously approved for credit at UQ. The database should be used as a general guide only.
You must still check the host university course catalogue to see if courses from the Credit Precedent Database are still on offer and in the correct semester of your exchange.
