Run your own initiatives and reach out to the UQ community with a Sponsorship Grant

The UQ Sponsorship Grant provides financial support to student groups and associations to further develop their skills, networks and experiences during their studies at The University of Queensland.

UQ Sponsorship Grant Guidelines

Individuals representing student groups and associations of The University of Queensland may apply for funding to support a student-led activity that enhance the UQ student experience, contribute to the vibrancy of our campuses and provide opportunities for students to further develop their employability.

Applicants must be affiliated with UQ Union or UQ Sport, and individuals must be currently enrolled at The University of Queensland and remain enrolled for the duration of the activity/event.

Refer to the full selection criteria in the UQ Sponsorship Grant Guidelines

Grants amounts will vary depending on the nature of the event, availability of other funding, anticipated number of students participating in the activity, and previous support provided to the club or society in that calendar year. No more than $2,000 will be awarded to a club or society in a single calendar year.

Each application is considered on a case by case basis.
