2026 Education Endowment Fund Scholarship

Since 1989, the Education Endowment Fund (EEF) has been committed to supporting the future of minerals industry professionals by providing financial aid, mentoring and elevated professional development experiences. Each year, the EEF awards approximately 12 scholarships to outstanding students studying mining and minerals related fields.
If you are determined to reach your potential, develop leadership qualities, expand your knowledge and network in the minerals sector, an EEF scholarship could be the perfect next step in your career journey.
Undergraduate scholarships - Valued at $20,000
- Annual cash grant
- Receive significant financial support of up to $11,000 annually.
- Mentor program
- Match with an industry professional tailored to your talents, aptitude, and interests in the first year of the scholarship. Valued at $5,000.
- Field trip
- In the first year of the scholarship, attend an all-expenses-paid one-week intensive field trip to a mineral-rich region in Australia.

Postgraduate research scholarship - Valued at $50,000
- Annual cash grant
- Receive significant financial support of up to $25,000 annually.
- Please note that the final dollar amount may vary based on other scholarships and stipends.
- The total value of all financial support is capped at a maximum of $50,000.
- Comprehensive support
- Receive the support to propel your academic pursuits and elevate your career trajectory.
