My experience
The Fudan International Summer Sessions is definitely a worthwhile experience. If you have never been to China, it can be a bit daunting at first, but once you start getting used to the lifestyle, you will have the best time of your life. The courses were fulfilling and all the other activities organised for the program were lots of fun. My favourite part would have been the weekend trip a few mates and I organised to Beijing, the Great Wall is a spectacular place to visit. In Shanghai, you will never ever be bored. There is so much to see and do, and it is one of the most interesting and full-on cities in the world. A city the area of Brisbane, but with the population of Australia. As a civil engineering student, it is hard not to be mesmerised by the enormous buildings towering over you. I even managed to learn a bit of Chinese, which everyone couldn't help but laugh when I talked because of my Aussie accent. There were over 300 students from all around the world on this program, and I have made some awesome mates which I will keep in contact with forever.
