My experience
My motivation to join the EWB program was to get to know a different culture and get a better idea of how we as students/professionals can make a difference. It was humbling and highly rewarding experience to say the least. I learnt lots about humanitarian design and many techniques that I am sure will help me academically at uni. My favourite memory from the trip was one of the kind farmers that we lived with took our prototype to modify and implement. I'd definitely recommend this experience to other students and my tip is always stay hydrated and keep get enough sleep as it is a very full on program.
