Sabrina Wong

The ATO graduate program has provided me multiple opportunities to progress my career as well as so many networks that will last me a lifetime. From managing the ATO LinkedIn Showcase page to supporting the fight against tax crime with a range of communication activities, the ATO graduate program has provided me everything but boredom. With a background in marketing, psychology, and sociology, I was placed in rotations during the program that stretch my existing capabilities and to develop new invaluable skills.

As a Marketing and Communications graduate, I developed communication strategies, managed stakeholder expectations, and implemented several activities for high-profile operations in the ATO. I was also given challenging and rewarding work, whilst being fully supported by my mentors, managers, and our therapy dog. This is not my first graduate program, but it will definitely be my last. In the span of one year, I have developed social media content, attended court, managed webpages, assisted in media releases, and most importantly realised my potential like no other workplace.
