Master of Business
Winter 2024

Personal Development

I made many friends from the University of Sydney, and we even planned to meet up for meals in Sydney later. During our free time, I visited scenic in Hangzhou, enjoying the beauty of West Lake and exploring China's rich history and culture. Experiencing these places firsthand made the historical lessons I had learned more vivid and memorable. Additionally, discussing education and lifestyle habits with professors helped me gain a deeper understanding of Chinese culture.

Academic Development

I took Asian Business and customer behavior in Marketing at Zhejiang University. Asian business is interesting and I learned a lot from the professor because he shared many china business backgrounds.

Professional Development

I became more familiar with Asian business in China by researching Chinese companies and analyzing their strategies. This experience helped me interpret the Asian economy using the PEST method, allowing me to introduce companies from different dimensions. Presenting information with various perspectives makes my analysis more convincing. The main challenge was filtering relevant information from the vast resources available online and presenting it clearly for those unfamiliar with the company.

Budget

I used- the budget app to record expenses. I spent about AUD 8740 on my overall experience. All budgets included AUD 210, transport AUD 100, food AUD 400, travel AUD 100, flight tickets AUD 930, and tuition fee AUD 7000.

I received a grant of AUD 800, paying for accommodation and flight ticket.
