Personal Development

I definitely gained new friendships and it pushed me out of my comfort zone to do this. It was great making friends internationally especially because we were likeminded.

Academic Development

I really enjoyed the academic aspect. The lecturers were experts in their field and I felt it was valuable to learn from people who are genuinely passionate about what they taught. The work load was very similar to that of UQ except as it was a condensed course there was less need to study for the exams as the content was fresh.

Professional Development

Skills I learned was to adapt to different cultures. Although business is very streamlined and global, it was evident that students from different countries approached learning very differently. this was valuable as in group work we could approach situations differently and come up with answers that were more wholistic with various perspectives.

Budget

accommodation was $1300  AUD to stay in a room of 3 for 3 weeks
In London transport and food ended up being the biggest expense while I was over there, around 1000$ per week. Flights there and back was around 4000, which was relatively expensive because I had to wait until the exam timetable came out before i could book my flights. I would advise future students to save for more than what they budget for.
