I found that during this time I became far more independent. Changing countries and meeting people from all walks of life allowed me to empathise with a larger audience. I of course developed my mandarin further, which is always a positive note.
Professional Development
I was lucky enough to attend a CAPRI summit where Malcolm Turnbull was speaking and connected with many professions and talk with him also! I have since been able to use these connections I made to meet other people in my work sector.
