My experience
I decided to complete a short term experience because I wanted to make the most out of the summer break. I wanted to learn and experience new things during the break such that I would be more prepared for next year challenge.
How has the experience changed you?
I have learnt the human-centred design approach and applied it during the experience. I would say it made me realise how complex the real-world problem is. This is a very frustrating fact. Because in uni, there is always a right answer to every question we have but it is far from that in the real world.
Favourite memory
Probably is during the 6 days 5 nights community stay. The host treated us warmly and kindly. It felt like a family for me.
Top tips
Make sure they bring masks for tuk tuk ride because of the air pollution.
