My experience
I did the program because I wanted to experience a different studying environment other than UQ.
Academically/personally, I feel more relaxed and confident about my abilities to study at uni, especially French, because I feel (and other students felt) that 3rd level French (above B1 level) was not taught very well or support wasn't very good at UQ.
My favourite memory was walking in the streets while it was snowing. It's more fun than walking through rain.
My advice to future participants would be to study hard and dedicate time to assignments, etc but remember to make time to enjoy / explore the place that you're in.
