Analysing your data

This is the third session in the feedback series, which will focus on analyzing your data that you have collected. Depending on your needs, you can choose to come to this whole session or part of the session.

Part One Quantitative Data: 9:00 - 9:45AM

This part will focus on quantitative data (for example, multiple-choice questions in surveys and demographics). In this part learn how to:

• Set-up a filing system to store your qualitative data
• Screen your data for any odd results (cleaning your data)
• Use Qualtrics to download quick reports
• Use excel to run quick formulas for reporting and to create graphs to visualise your data

Part Two Qualitative Data: 9:45 - 10:30AM

This part will focus on qualitative data (for example, long responses in surveys and focus group transcripts). In this part learn how to:

• Set-up a filing system to store your qualitative data
• Screen your data for identifying information (cleaning your data)
• Find themes in your qualitative data using different methods
• Use excel to create visualisations of your themes 

Part Three Q&A: 10:30 - 11:00AM

• This is the perfect time if you still have questions or if you want to go through anything specific for your project
