This is the second session in the feedback series, which will focus on creating surveys, writing focus groups, and exploring other feedback tools. Depending on your needs, you can choose to come to this whole session or part of the session.

Part One Surveys & Polls: 2:00 - 2:45PM

  • Create a Qualtrics account for creating surveys
  • Learn how to create a Qualtrics survey and how to create different types of questions and headings
  • Have a go at using Qualtrics
  • Explore platforms for polls - Instagram, Facebook, Emails

Part Two Focus Groups & Casual Chats: 2:45 - 3:30PM

  • Learn how to set-up a Focus Group or Casual Chat Schedule for your feedback tool
  • Have a go at creating your own structure 
  • Learn top tips for running a focus group or casual chat (e.g. what happens when no one is talking, what happens when one person is taking over)

Part Three Q&A: 3:30 - 4:00PM

  • This is the perfect time if you still have questions or if you want to go through anything specific for your project

Walk away with practical strategies and tools to get you started creating your feedback tools.

About SSP Feedback Series

This series will be running over the semester and will include a mix of information sessions, Q&A and workshop activities to help you navigate collecting, analysing and reporting on feedback data.

Anyone can come along! You might be collecting student (or staff) feedback as part of your Student-Staff Partnership project, in your student representation role, or just generally collecting feedback as part of research or a project.
