TU Berlin offers a two-week course (Term 2) taught in English and participants can earn European Credit Points (ECTS) for their studies.  TU Berlin is centrally located in the district of Charlottenburg in the heart of City West. Since Berlin’s public transport system is known to be one of the best in the world, the main campus can be easily reached from every corner of the city.

Credit Equivalent

3 ECTS = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 2 UQ units after successful completion of 3 ECTS (pending UQ faculty approval).

Eligibility and application

All applicants must meet the standard UQ Student Eligibility Criteria and any additional eligibility criteria set by TU Berlin

If you are intending to undertake your experience for-credit, it is strongly recommended that you submit your application to IGET at least 4 weeks before applying to the host to allow sufficient time for Faculty to complete the credit assessment. Please note however that it is your responsibility to meet the host application deadline.

Costs

The participation mode of this experience is Study Abroad. Program tuition varies per course and is approximately $1190 (German course) to $1840 AUD, and includes field trips and a cultural program. Detailed information regarding fees and inclusions can be found on the TU Berlin website.

Internships and Global Experiences Grants

You may also be eligible to submit an application for an OS-HELP loan if your program is for-credit and you are enrolled as a Commonwealth-supported student.
