Each summer the University of Virginia offers a rich selection of courses to more than four thousand students through the UVA Summer Session.

The small classes offered during Summer Session are delivered in an intensive form, offer maximum student-faculty interaction and allow students to immerse themselves in a topic - experiencing the best in US higher education.

UQ Students can participate in Summer Session III only. It is recommended that you select a variety of courses, as your desired course may fill up prior to enrolment.

Credit equivalent

3 - 4 credits = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 2 UQ Units if 3 - 4 credits are successfully completed (pending UQ faculty approval).

Eligibility and application

All applicants must meet the UQ short-term experience eligibility criteria and the UVA entry requirements. This program impacts on UQ semester 2, 2017 dates, UQ students must meet the additional special conditions for programs that impact on teaching dates.

Costs

Program tuition varies per course and costs range between $5,500 - $7,400 AUD.  Application, accommodation, insurance and administrative fees are also applicable.
