Through the Robertson Centre for Intercultural Leadership at the University of California, the UC Berkeley Global Leadership & Innovation Program is a two-week intensive program which equips students with tangible skills to effectively lead and work on innovative global teams.

On this program, you can develop skills to study or work in a global setting, understand and identify different styles of leadership, practice leading with different styles, understand how cultural values influence the way we lead and follow, learn how leadership and cultural values connect to innovation, prepare to lead and work on global and multicultural teams, learn about US culture,  all while experiencing the UC Berkeley campus.

Credit Equivalent/Professional Practice

Engineering students may be eligible for Professional Practice. This program is approved for up to 30 hours of Professional Practice.

If you are seeking recognition for professional practice, please upload a completed, Intention to Claim Professional Practice Form to your Short Term Global Experience Application in lieu of the Application for Credit form.

All applicants must meet the UQ short-term experience eligibility criteria and any additional eligibility criteria set by UC Berkeley

As accommodation in the Bay Area is very limited at this time, UC Berkeley suggests THE BERKELEY YMCA as a low-cost, basic housing option for students. If students wish to stay in alternative accommodation with more amenities, local hotels and AirBNB are suggested.
