The University of Bergen Short-term Psychology Programme is a 5-week program which provides applicants with the opportunity to study psychology in the city of Bergen, Norway surrounded by mountains and fjords. 

Spend your summer break studying and participating in various winter activities including skiing, dog sledding and seeing the stunning Northern Lights.

Credit equivalent 

12 ECTS = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 2 UQ Units if 12 ECTS are successfully completed (pending UQ faculty approval).

Eligibility and application

All applicants must meet the UQ short-term experience eligibility criteria

Students will be selected via an internal UQ selection committee after the UQ deadline.

Apply to UQ  

Successful applicants will be nominated to UiB by UQ after the selection committee meeting following the application deadline and will be required to submit an online registration to the UiB directly. 


Tuition is paid to UQ. Accommodation and administrative fees apply and are paid directly to UiB. More information regarding program fees can be found on the host university website

Applicants may also be eligible for UQ-specific funding.
