My experience
I chose to go on this trip because I hadn't had the opportunity to do an exchange during my time at UQ, and I was entering my last semester. I had an incredible time at MSU - being in such a passionate and inclusive university community made me feel right at home. The course was excellent and I feel as though I am better equipped for the workforce with my new negotiation and communication skills. My favourite part of the trip was our night in Detroit to watch the Redwings play ice hockey. My advice to anyone else going to Michigan for this experience - make sure you have a good coat, waterproof boots, and talk to people in the dining halls!
