My motivation for participating in this experience was to enhance my agricultural knowledge, develop cross-cultural communication skills, and gain international exposure.

Personally, I gained valuable friendships, explored new places, and learned basic Thai during my experience at Kasetsart University. This experience significantly enhanced my adaptability, cross-cultural communication, and confidence. It changed me by broadening my perspective, making me more open-minded and resilient in diverse environments.
Academic Development
this trip broadened my knowledge and critical thinking through new teaching methods and agricultural practices. I enjoyed the hands-on learning and interactive classroom environment.
There were a few challenges and how I overcame them:
Language Barrier: Learned basic Thai and used English.
Different Teaching Styles: Adapted by being flexible and open to new methods.
Cultural Differences: Observed and learned from peers to integrate better.
Workload Comparison:
The workload was similar to UQ, but with more emphasis on practical applications and fieldwork.
Highlight
The highlight of my experience was attending marketing classes and gaining insights from local experts. The interactive and practical approach to learning, combined with the opportunity to explore Thailand's rich culture and make lifelong friendships, made the experience truly unforgettable.
